Toni leaves her home hoping to escape the loneliness surrounding her. Unable to withstand or understand her barren home any longer, she departs in search of another world. Residing within her soul are everlasting memories of her past and uncertainty about her future. As she engages in her voyage of optimism, she encounters an older boy and his sister. Both are escaping a grisly orphanage that is run by a nefarious couple, who has held a hidden desire to harm them and the other orphans. A charming older couple, Tily and Ray Boy, become acquainted with the children and act as their guardians. However, the caretakers of the orphanage are determined to capture the children and take them back to their dreadful dwelling. Mysterious and evil are these caretakers, who are determined the boy will not become the Pious Head of Elysian Fields, which he learns is his life’s purpose.
